At first I
didn't know anything about handling - I didn't even
know what I have to do in the ring.
Now many years after my first show I have learned a lot
about handling and I want to thank
those people who have given
me advice during these years ! Handling
is something what I like to do.
During these years I have handled many diferent kind of dogs. The
ones who I like the most handle are the sighthounds.
In year 2005 I won a qualifaction to Finnish Chapionship Final with
saluki male "Paravat" Ch Kirman Paravat.
That has been one of the greatest moments in my juniorhandling carreer.
Nowadays I don't compete in juniorhandling so much. This
is my last year when I'm allowed to compete, but the
competition in breed rings atracts me more.
The most important thing in the ring is - of course - that the dog
looks great, but also dog has to be happy.. it's sad when you are in the ring
with dog who doesn't want to be there.
I feel like a winner when I see that the dog is enjoying our time in
the ring.. of course it's not so easy to be happy all the time,
but the "ring experience" has to be positive for dog :-)
This year I'm going to compete many times in Finland and
maybe few times in abroad too. I plan my shows according
to my dogs rings, but I'm allways ready to handle other
dogs too if someone needs my help.
If you need a handler - don't hesitate to take a contact!
I am glad when I have opportunity to help people and also prove my
skills ;-)
I hope that I can still keep learning and growing as a
handler - you can never be good enough ;-) |

Moving towards BOS-puppy title with

I used to handle this handsome male when he was youngster and we
got some nice results together.
Nowadays he is usually handled by her owner.

In Kajaani INT 2007 I got opportunity to handle this stunning
dog as
changing dog in juniorhandler competition.
This welsh corgi pembroke female "Viuhti", Tejakes Melody is
owned by my friend.
"Viuhti" travelled with me to Tromsa, Norway.

I showed this beautiful ESS female "Saana", Adamant's Sweet
Fantasy.
