YEAR 2008

At first, Happy New Year to all of you:)

It's almost February'09 and it's time to look back to year 2008. I have to say that last year we got so much more what we expected :-) I showed Fallow over the country and I made some new friends during the year.

"After this hard year I need some rest" says Fallow ;-)

So what Fallow got in 2008?
*2 BOB, BIG4-placement
*1 BOS
*8 CAC's - 7 from Finland and 1 from Norway
*1 CACIB
*4 res-CACIB (one will be confirmed as CACIB)
*3 res-CAC
*and many BB-placements:-))

AND of course she finished her Fin & N Ch -titles at the first possible show!!! Well done my beauty:)

So I'm very happy!! We also competed few times in juniorhandling and got nice placements from there, too :) I also handled some other dogs to nice wins during the year, hopefully I'll have opportunity to handle those dogs to new wins some day!

Well what to expect from year 2009? Well I finally turn 18 years;) and hopefully got drivers-license, so it makes travelling lots of easier to me! We will have few shows abroad with Fallow and maybe few in Finland too. And on summer it's Vimmas turn to show how beautiful she is!

And who knows, you may have hear some puppynews soon... ;-)

22.11 Jyväskylä International

We had perfect day, I'm still on 7th heaven... :-)

Magyar agar NordJW-07 NordW-07 JWW-08 Avenina's Arlie Adastra won her class and was BOB with CAC and CACIB! Judge was John Wauben. Congrats Nina & Salla!

JW-07 Mossbawnhill Dream On was shown very first time after her 2nd birthday. She was 2nd Best Bitch with CAC and res-CACIB! This means that Fallow is now Finnish & Norwegian Champion !! And as the winner bitch was Int Ch Fallow's res-CACIB will be confirmed as CACIB. Yippee!! :-))
Judge was Ursula Langer from Germany.

I also competed in my very last offical juniorhandler competition with Fallow. Judge Vesa Toivanen picked us among 15 best handlers.

11-12.10 Vilnius International, Lithuania

I travelled to Lithuania with Salla Suokas & Sami Lyyski. We had three dogs with us: Fallow and afghans CH Agha Djari's Urban Cowboy "Moritz" and Tiktei's Cherokee Blackfox "Heavy".

9.8 Tornio International

We had perfect ending for our super summer 2008! The weather was, again, very freezing but still we
managed to get GREAT results!

Bearded collie male "Speedy", Ch Perky's Gimme The Prize, won the champion class and finished as 2nd
Best Male with res-CACIB. Congratulations to owner and thank you for entrusting Speedy into my hands! He is
such a lovely boy.

This was Fallows last show before her long show-break. And she ended her summer with style! Gaining her
7th finnish CAC and first CACIB ! She also was Best of Breed!!

Both breed were judged by Libuse Ubrova, Chezh Republic. Thank you!

I also competed in juniorhandling with Fallow and we had perfect ending for our perfect day as judge Mari Sipola placed us as 2nd !

1.8 & 2.8 Kuopio International

I spent super weekend in Kuopio with my friends and we made great results in the rings!! Thank you everyone for great company during the weekend.
Extra thanks to Merja for everything! I couldn't make this all without you.

On Friday whippets were judged by August De Wilde from Belgium. Fallow didn't only won her class as she placed 3rd Best Bitch with CAC!

On Saturday Fallow did the same, again she placed as 3rd Best Bitch and gained her 6th CAC!

19.7 Ylivieska International

Fallow continued her shows this Saturday. The judge for whippets was Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen from Finland.

Fallow did excellent job also this day as she was 3rd Best Bitch with res-CAC! Yippee, this was quite an achievement under this tuff judge.

I also handled dobermann "Luna", Ch Eria Pro Lirica Luna. She won the champion class and placed as 3rd Best Bitch!

12.7 Oulu International & 13.7 Oulu All Breeds

What a perfect weekend for us!! I just love my home town....

At first I competed in juniorhandling with Fallow. We were among 6 best handlers and we won Pohjois-Pohjanmaa District Championship!! Junior handlers were judged by Rob Douma from Netherlands, thank you !

On Sunday whippets were judged by Monique Van Brempt from Belgium. Her choice to Best Of Breed was Fallow!! So another CAC for Fallow... thank you judge :-)

And that wasn't all... FCI 10 -group was judged by Lars Adeheimer and he placed Fallow as Best In Group -4!!

5.7 World Winner 2008, Stockholm

It was finally time for WW-08 show! We travelled a lot but we had really nice time and I want to thank you all who keep me some company during the weekend.

Fallow was entered to intermediate class, which was judged by Thomas Münch from Germany. Fallow got excellent but didn't get placement in the class.

Magyar agar bitch NordW-07 NordJW-07 Avenina's Arlie Adastra won CAC and got title JWW-08 !!
She was also BOB-junior.

28.6 Mustiala Sighthound Speciality

What a beautiful day....

Whippets were judged by Paula Bockman-Chato from Australia.
Fallow was Best Bitch and BOS !! And of course got CAC.

I competed in juniorhandling with Fallow and judge was Iren Naarits (Estonia) who gave me the 1st place and BIS-juniorhandler!

31.5-1.6 Whippet weekend

There were two shows held in beautiful Mustiala, open show and national speciality for whippets.
We had great time with friends and the weather was beautiful. Here are the results:

On Saturday at open show bitches were judged by Susanne Oschinski (kennel Whipcat).
In 5-7months puppies I handled "Dorid", Silentkaze Dancing Delight and she placed as 3rd.
Fallow was showing in intermediate class without placement and Vimma in open class also without placement.
Silentkaze -breedersgroup went BIS2!

On Sunday bitches were judged by Iva Kimmelman (Merci Isle whippets).
Today "Doris" was 2nd with HP and Fallow got EXC and placed as 2nd in intermediate class!
Vimmas sister "Nuppu", Silentkaze Aster Among Roses, got EXC in tuff competition.

26.4 Vaasa International

One week - two shows. Now it was time to the second show of this week with Fallow and she competed first time in intermediate class at international show in Finland.

Whippets were judged by swedish Ove Germundson. Fallow won her class with EXC and finally placed as 3rd Best Bitch with res-CAC and res-CACIB.

I also took part in juniorhandling competition with Fallow. Fallow showed herself extremely well and we did such a nice job. Also judge Petru Muntean was impressed because he placed us as 2nd! Thank you :-)

20.4 Hardstad International, Norway

It was time for Fallow's first show abroad ! We travelled almost 800km to Northern Norway.
Fallow surprised us all - she won her class with CK and placed as 2nd Best Bitch after a champion so she got CAC and res-CACIB !! Wow I'm proud of my 18months old girl. Judge was Matti Tuominen from Finland - thank you!

I also handled bullmastiff male "Pepe", Bullbugbears Peeveli, in BOB-ring and he was crowned as Best Of Breed with CAC and CACIB ! Well done and congratulations to owner and breeder :-)

Easter holiday

We spent our eastern holiday in our lovely cottage which is located in countryside in Lapland. There were beautiful weather every day so we spend much of time at outdoors! We took also some lovely photos and I want to share few of those with you, enjoy!

2.3 Kaarina Speciality

We started our winterholiday by travelling to Kaarina. This time we didn't got any special results to brag about, but we had fun as allways. Thank you Salla for everything!

So the results, Fallow were 3rd in intermediate class with EXC and Vimma got EXC and didn't get placement on open class. Thank you Salla Suokas for handling Vimma! Judge was Stephen Wheeler from Sweden.

I also handled Salla's magyar agar Scarlett, Avenina's Arlie Adastra. She was shown in junior class and what a result! Best Bitch with CC and BOB !! Congrats to Salla and Nina!
